Using Autoresponders for Your Internet Business

Autoresponders

Members of the Internet Business Society use autoresponders in a number of different ways. One of the ways they have been effectively deployed is to capture leads and send them to the affiliates sales page being promoted.

Once your autoreponder is set up with a sequence of messages your autoreponder will automatically send the messages straight to your subscribers email inbox. For example message one will be sent as soon as your lead subscribes. Message two could be 3 days after they subscribe and message 3 could be 5 days after message 2.

The messages can even be customized with there names in the email, so each email you send seems personal.

The problem with sending your lead directly to the merchants sales page is that if that customer leaves, you’ve lost a sale. There is no way you will likely ever come in contact that person again.

But, if you capture that person email address you can keep in contact with this and promote products related to your niche that they may find useful.

How do you get people to sign up for your mailing list? Most affiliate marketers offer a free downloadable eBook report, videos, software or something of value for the niche you are pursuing.

Promote your new squeeze page the same as you would your affiliate marketing merchants sales page.

It is very import to use a professional auto responder. While you can get them for free it is far better to use a paid service such as Aweber. Aweber’s easy to use interface will allow you to create your follow up messages, opt-in boxes and anything else you need quickly and easily.

Free auto responders are in my experience very difficult and annoying to use. Also, in the messages most free autoreponder services have their own advertisements in the emails you send. You do not want your autoreponder to make someone else money.
